Question 01

When is the best time to surf?

The season runs from October to April — that's when the North Atlantic sends its long swells, and the water sits at around 16 to 18 degrees. Summer is milder and ideal for a first try.

Even in the depths of winter we keep more sheltered spots ready for beginners. You can learn here all year round.

Question 02

Do I already need to know how to surf to come?

No. The beaches around Mirleft offer gentle, well-forming waves, perfect for a first time, and every session is supervised.

Many come without ever having stood on a board. We meet you where you are.

Question 03

What does a week cost, and what's included?

The week covers accommodation, full board, supervised surf sessions and the transfer from Agadir. A 30% deposit confirms the booking, the balance no later than 15 days before arrival.

The exact prices are on the stay page. We'd rather name a clear price than a fake deal.

Question 04

Are children welcome at the camp?

Yes, from six years old — mainly for practical reasons: the camp isn't set up for very young children, and dinners tend to run long.

If you're coming with children between six and twelve, let us know in advance; we'll arrange the rooms accordingly.

Question 05

Can a woman travelling alone come here?

Yes, and many do. The camp is family-run and easy to take in, the mood calm — nobody here is a number in a big resort.

We arrange the transfers and stay reachable before arrival, so you can set off relaxed.

Question 06

Do you also offer yoga, alongside the surfing?

Yes, as an option for an extra charge: a yoga session with a view of the sea, to release what the waves have asked of you.

Supervised surfing remains the heart of the stay; yoga, extra sessions and excursions come à la carte, just as you fancy.

Question 07

Is there surfing every day?

One supervised session a day, tuned to the conditions (tides, wind, swell): morning or afternoon depending on the day, at the beach break, a few steps from the surf school.

Question 08

How do you get from the airport to Mirleft?

The nearest airport is Agadir (Al Massira), about an hour and a half away. The transfer Agadir airport ↔ camp is included in the stay, there and back.

The road runs along the sea — the spots are already going by before you've even arrived.

Question 09

Is the surf equipment provided?

Yes. Boards and wetsuits are available on site, matched to your level and the season.

If you have a favourite board, feel free to bring it along — it's not required.

Question 10

How long does a stay last?

We offer stays of three, five or seven nights at our surf camp in Mirleft, plus a desert variant. Three nights to get a taste, seven to really settle into the rhythm.

From the third morning something shifts: you begin to read the sea rather than endure it.

Question 11

Are the meals included?

Yes, full board: breakfast and dinner at the camp, home-made, and lunch at the surf school's café-restaurant, right by the sea.

Drinks included. We accommodate dietary needs (vegetarian, gluten-free) if you tell us at the time of booking.

Question 12

Can you cancel if something comes up?

Yes. More than 30 days before arrival we refund the amounts paid in full. Between 30 and 15 days we keep 30% of the stay price; less than 15 days the full amount remains due.

If you fall ill on the day of the flight, write to us first: in honest cases we've already refunded in full.
